A Way With Words

.................................................................................
"I respect a man who knows how to spell a word
more than one way"
-Mark Twain
.................................................................................

She has a way with words, they say,
And writes her thoughts down every day.
Every wisp and every sigh,
So sure she's dotted every I.

She'll choose her words with clever care,
There will be fresh mileage on her writing chair
As she conjures up a world new
For her heroine to travel through.

Her words, sometimes wise, and oft profound,
Each carry her distinctive sound.
Her metaphors, thoughts, each refined rhyme
Plays to the music of her mind.

She has such talent in the way
Others say the things they say.
Each unique trait she'll scribble down,
And every metaphor that she has found

Will somehow find their niche to fame
Inside the books that bear her name.
Wherein she's captured every subtle hue,
That the colors of her mind imbue.

She'll use every wild, wicked theme
And every clever, mindful dream
To draw her readers deeper yet
Into a tale they shall not soon forget.

She has a way with words, it's true.
For few can do what she can do,
Create, produce, and enkindle time,
In this world ablaze within her mind..

The authoress, and mayhap also the author, if we may take the "s" off. Excellent, delightfully rhyming depiction of the novelist and poet. I like it! Dangerous characters though, for all the power they skillfully wield!
