Dreamers Voice

Somewhere a voice is calling in the night
somehow my dreams were stolen from my sight
I heard the cries and felt the pain
will I ever hear the truth again

I hear your voice like an echo through the years
in every phrase there's a remnent of my fears
sometimes I'm scared in this world that's so cold
we marry money to have and to hold

Our dreams are stabbed by the cynical
we must remember they are magical
there is a place I know
where only the dreamers go
dark angel of mystery
did they take you too
'cause you could speak right to me
