See how the shadow halves its size,

Now where's the shadow that loomed so large,
And where is the height you imagined?
The closer you get to the sweet-smelling earth

Turn around to face the light.
Now you have seen how the shadow is cast,
And how you project the things you fear most;
Now you can see just how small you are,
As well as your strength and might;
At last you may follow the thrill of your heart,
And rejoice in both shadow and light.

Wow. Very fascinating, and rather delightfully expressed as if all readers are engaging in the exercise to discover the "truth." If I may dare disagree, what about the warning in the Word of God that the devil and his ministers come as angels of light and in the end of time there is massive deception and only few escape it, worshiping another false god?! And alluding to the earth as our parent, while agreeing with man's original creation, also characterizes the proponents as possibly fatally "written in the earth" as opposed to "written in heaven".....just a lengthy two bits from my first reading. Very interesting philosophical piece, beautifully poetic.
