The tendency to find a scapegoat for the things we fear to face in ourselves is endemic.

Shadows of reality by Kaitâ„“ynRose

Touching Hands

There is one
Touching on
The lightness of
Our Being.

This one -
We appreciate,
Receive into
Our hearts.

But there is one
Touching on
The shadow of
Our souls.

This one we
Excommunicate,
And sever from
Our love.

But both are hands
Dispatched to touch,
(The right and left
Of God); for

Without them each
To touch upon
The shadow and
The light,

We never come
To rest within
The fullness of
Our lives.

Very fascinating philosophical reflection. While I tend to think the Word of God disagrees, yet nonetheless it is stated here so beautifully, interesting and thought-provocative. I enjoyed how you expressed it herein.
