The Line.

Dad says "Tow the line",
So we tow it.
Mum says "Tow the line",
So we keep towing it.
God says "Tow the line",
And we believe it.
One day we say "Drop it",
And we do.

Where we drop the line
Is demarkation
Between that which is real
And our insurance;
The line becomes the border
Between two worlds.
One day we will see it -
And we do.

Once we see the line
And how we cross it;
And how we flip from real
To what's imagined,
Opportunity is opened
Like a window;
Either we will seize it
Or we wont.
