my poem "Poems from the Edge" which I had posted last year was used for an independent short film which the filmmakers, Anupam Pradhan and Keith Halstead, submitted to the Edge of the City Film Festival in the U.K.
Poems from the Edge (w/ short film)
Edge I
you're at the edge of the precipice
but do you have the right answers
to the right questions
because if you don't
you can't go
so think about that
and let me know
Edge II
I'm at the edge
or so it seems
why then haven't I
fallen in
sometimes I feel like
I haven't moved
that I'm still at dead center
boxed in
Edge III
is there an edge to anything
or does it just go around
like the earth that we thought had an end
until we came back where we came from
if there's an edge to anything
what's there beyond
beyond the clouds
beyond the stars
beyond this universe
Edge IV
is there one?
then this makes a square
which makes a box
question is
can we topple the top?

Why have I only just now found this! The poem sequence in itself is brilliant, and you are lucky indeed to have found someone to understand it, see its possibilities, and give it extra dimensions. I'm impressed beyond belief.
Your question reminds me of Escher's drawings.
This style of poetics Rocks me, Sonya....Dark...mysterious and questions to answers that need to be questioned , for if not there be chaos ...on the edge ,indeed!Really like the quadron stages, as well as the lower-casing throughout.....Esoteric & stunning! ~FjR~

I have experienced the drama, the width and the depth of these poems through the short film! The best I have seen of poetry performed through multimedia format. I have only dreamed of having poetry thus performed. Maybe one day I too will have that opportunity as well. Thanks so much for sharing! Truly inspiring.

Congratulations. Fantastical. It is rewarding to see this poem getting so much exposure. It's always interesting to see what people enjoy and notice in our poems and how they choose to use them. This is one reason why I like PF and like reading other's comments.
