~ As I sat down to write yet another romantic love poem, God had another idea! ... This is what He gave me! ~
Gift of Love
Where my heart already lives,
is a place I long to be.
There are no walls to bind us;
our love flows wide and free.
Affection is the warmth within
that shines from up above,
comforting others around the world
with God’s amazing love.
A simple touch from one who cares
could bring forth faith anew,
that they, as well, could also live
with peace like me and you.
Shattered hearts and broken bones
in time, would surely heal,
if loving care and tenderness
were served with every meal.
I pray that God will bless the hearts
of those able to touch
the lives of those less fortunate,
who need His love so much.
Be kind and generous and never fear
revealing your loving heart.
As God so loved the world, we should
His gift to all impart.
