I wrote this poem one day when it was raining in my english class back in 7th grade :)

Seventh Grade me (Rain Poem) =]

It started to rain one warm day,
The children yelled "Hip Hip Horray."
The rain went pitter-patter,
Then it stopped and everything was the matter.

No more big, wet, puddles,
No umbrella for people to huddle.
No wind sheild wipers going on cars,
No raindrop marks on the tar.

The sun came up and dried up our day,
why did the rain have to go away?
The sun is hot and bright,
Will it rain again it just might.

Gray clouds are so fun to see,
white clouds are okay; I'll give them a B.
Gray clouds I give an A,
Oh look, it's raining again; now I can go play.
