Like sand
..............once the tide has ebbed,
Smoothed out again,
....................................and ready
For being gently re-claimed
By he who must
...................... remain nameless,
She now bides her time,
.............................with a prayer
For patience.
Her heart is aware,
............................like fine lawn,
Such velvet green
.............................newly mown
Grass glows with dew,
......................shows moistness
Only when fresh
.........................and each dawn
Needs patience.
So she lies,
..................savouring morning
And remembers
........................the night before,
And what more
................................of paradise
Passion will bring
..........................from it's store,
With patience.
What a gorgeous love poem.
