''Our most tragic error may have been our inability to establish a rapport and a confidence with the press and television with the communication media. I don't think the press has understood me''

Lyndon B. Johnson

Syndication

I heard the sound of a distant whisper
Begging me to walk through a threshold
To me it felt like it was somewhat familiar
And that I might've already known
The path to secure syndicated knowledge
Or something that resembles its taste
I can't tell if it's a lie so I can't neglect this

I stood here in awe where the rain has fallen
Empty are the crops, no sign of foreign vehicles
Men have proved themselves to be innocent
And now they're just asking for some miracles
Some of them grew up in this neigbourhood
Some of them even went to school here
Some of them are still being educated, good

So what can we do to stop the cycle?
Society's on the edge of falling apart
I want to learn things and be useful
I want to learn from the heart

What can we do to make things better?
Violance has been the motive and the force
We're a generation that's looking for a future
Not a constitution to cause regret and remorse
Some of us has been quite the hyper-active
Some of us has been sleeping all day long
Some of us has been quite the escapist

I love your poems too!! World is filled with those who would love to give a hand for the change. But we haven't got it: we do not know how to or where to look for..what?- a simple life, filled with love, surounded by happy smiling people?! Gosh!! Sounds like we wish to bring heaven on Earth.. - many of us gave up the search, some too busy or tired or.. sleepy..we just go on, follow the path pushed on us by the few who makes the rules- and from time to time we scream our hopes with half of voice wondering if aren't we the crazy ones.. I love your poems!..

Reminds me of lyrics from a band called Rise Against, a punk rock band i love. You write with the same urgency and grit, the whole piece is enthralling..
