The Helix Nebula looks like a giant eye

The Stars Gaze Patiently by pattimast

The Stars Gaze Patiently

The stars gaze patiently
When I tell them, it is your eyes
They are trying to imitate
In all their reflected fires
When I whisper a secret
It's in your words I say it
You saturate every fabric
With converse threads
Of your most commonly rare being
You made the world a worship
Of all that's you
In your disparate phenomenon
So that your countenance
Is ever visible
In the faint highlight
Of every other eye
And every eye, a lover.

a world of love, to be so intense that everything else pales in comparison is the ultimate triumph of the human condition. pure slendifery.

You turned the tables a little on us, but still a fine write. Love the imagery you provide.

Astronomy meets artistry to create a magnificently penned piece. 'You saturate every fabric / With converse threads' is nothing short of masterly. :)

The word combinations here are a delight - -- "commonly rare" is a poetic feast - - a peace pervades the whole read.

You combine the romantic with the astronomic in this wonderful poem where the visual and the emotional entwine and love sings. Your final triplet is particularly compelling. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
