Jungle Recluse

Prowling along the forest floor at night
The jaguar haunts the deepest of jungles
As an eremite, seperate from Man's sins
And a staunch seeker of God's purity

Surviving among the leaves of nature
He adores ev'ry branch of wilderness
Ever enjoying its simplicity
And thirsting after no more than he needs

Such a wise beast, I cannot ignore him
To understand what the jaguar discerns
Would put to death what plagues the lives of men
Only peice can come from his perception

As I listen for the jungle recluse
I try to listen for his great wisdom
