From a fragment found in an old 1972 writing notebook, finished January 2011

Falling in Love in the Lost Pines

By firefly glitter
our love is whispered;
By moonlight and star-shine
our passions flare;
by campfire blaze
a love letter is written;
by lantern glow
a poem answers;
By sunrise
we are joined forever.

That was some progression, from evening to sunrise! I'm just glad it lasted. Beautifully and concisely put.

I love newly discovered poems...especially those with the true expressions of love captured in a sunrise. Dorothy A Poet Who Loves To Sing
