Late lunchhour near Penzance.

Hazy Reflections

Glass plated, the bay
lies hazily, sealine breaks
the sky away
from distant headlands,
and basks in midday.

Warm autumn sun fills
the basin between
with diamond studded
diaphanous glazes
which mesmerise me.

Thank you for allowing us to cast our eyes over those 'diamond studded diaphanous glazes' - simply stunning! :)

Baldric
reflections of an autumn star, shedding light from afar ripples dance on waters still, whilst lazy hazy dreamers thrill just a line divides sea and sky, so discerning to the eye I want to stay, i want to capture, this feeling of enrapture Baldric

Earth is like a beautiful window that we get to sit in front of, and see the most amazing views. Which would almost be enough; but the fact of being totally immersed in such changeable beauty is almost too much to bear at times.

This is a very beautiful and evocative poem, Fay, and your imagery created wonderful pictures in the reader's minds. Carl.
