Love Doesn't Make You Fat

Had enough?
Or do you want more?
Take a bite, don't be shy
Don't worry, you won't be
Getting any fatter tonight

Circumstances say,
You've fallen under the railway
Of the passing horror that gets
Through your day to day life

So sad you must feel
Would you like a simple meal?
Well, I could bake you a little cake
And perhaps put a candle in the top
And sing to you the song of our love
Let's cut through the chords, straight
To desert, let's eat together tonight

So sweet are your words
I couldn't believe I remembered
It seemed so long ago, I only had
Enough time to get hurt

But now I can breathe
Right after I brushed my teeth
And put together the pieces of
The robot that imitates my voice

Unhappy with the way I am,
And the way I look all the time,
Everything I know absorbs me
And I absorb everything around

Except for love,
It doesn't eat you up
It doesn't make you fat,
It only makes you satisfied
