Character Defect

Trapped
selfishly consumed
thief by day
thief by night

denial speaks bluntly
degradation demoralization dereliction
entangled in make believe

is it fantasy
is it me

rationalization hostility minimizing
people pleasing,

don't want to return to
evasive incomprehensible demoralization

free my soul
from these chains
