INNOCENCE

INNOCENCE

It's much too easy to feel doomed
And to fall inside your sky's gloom
Tears are much too easy to freeze
Like umbrellas block the brisk breeze

You say you see my innocence
I see procastinated repentence
If I let go, I'll find innocence
I'll find purity despite the past-tensed

When rejected by my own mind
The signs to Hell are all I find
Some cry and be nostalgic
While others laugh and be cryptic

You say you see my innocence
I see procastinated repentence
If I let go, I'll find innocence
I'll find purity despite the past-tensed

I was the joke of the world
Learned by every boy and girl
They're laughter sounds so impure
And so of this world I'm unsure

You say you see my innocence
I see procastinated repentence
If I let go, I'll find innocence
I'll find purity despite the past-tensed
