My shadows no longer with me, my guardian angels gone
where once there were two shadows, now there's only one
we walked everywhere together, memories keep flooding back
my world seems very empty, since he had his heart attack
side by side we'd walk, two souls fancy free
he's only been gone a day, but it's like an eternity.
