The Velocity of Love by pattimast

The Velocity of Love

The velocity of love
Is straight, as starlight flies
From the breath of dying embers,
From the whispers of a sigh.

Creation's incantation
Of mind, into the ether,
Is blessing; curse divine,
Upon this life's thin tether.

Far flung fields of quasars
Transmute the code of being,
And change to nascent light
The inborn soul we're breathing.

Ah! You are the master of the opening lines. 'The velocity of love is straight as starlight flies..' I can only admire the beauty of those words and wish they had been mine.
