There are times when God reveals himself to us through the Holy Spirit. I was washing dishes one day and this song came into my head and I could not stop singing it, for fear I would forget the words. I wanted so badly to write it down, but was in the middle of dishes, so I kept singing until I got the chance to write it down, but by then it was stuck in my head and I sang it for days afterwards.
Give praises, give praises
To the Lord up high above
Give praises, everybody give praises
For all his wondrous love
He lessens your sorrow
And he eases your pain
His wondrous love falls
Like refreshing rain
He'll never desert you
In your time of need
Turn to him
So your life may be freed
Give praises, give praises
To the Lord up high above
Give praises, everybody give praises
For all his wondrous love
Love him like he loves you
Bless his holy name
Your sins were bought
When Jesus came
Trust in him only
To see you through
Be strengthened in knowing
How much he loves you
Give praises, give praises
To the Lord up high above
Give praises, everybody give praises
For all his wondrous love
No matter what you've done
No matter the sin
If you seek forgiveness
He'll still take you in
He loves you so dearly
His love has no end
He can fix all things
A broken heart mend
Give praises, give praises
To the Lord up high above
Give praises, everybody give praises
For all his wondrous love

Well had no idea you were so spiritual. (forgive me all my dirty poems!) I love this one and reminds me of the best reasons to go to church.
