Why not to believe what eyes see?
How one can forget shade given by tree?
But some one cautioned me not to believe
What we see, hear and try to live
They claim eyes can deceive any person
The spoken words can be denied with various reasons
Blatant lie and denial for what was seen through naked eyes
This is hopeless situation when one is forced to try

You have grown through typical situation
It has not remained same with the continuation
As child you observed the innocence and trust
Parents provided to you as it was essential and must
You could see yourself calm and quiet river flow
Now you saw her exceeding water level to grow
Same flow but with different magnitude
Complete transformation with change in attitude
You completely shake your ryes in disbelief for something
When nearest friend is stabbing a close friend for nothing
You are seeing it and at the same time not believing
This is adding to frustration but still not believing
You are not now in prime but responsible age
You have entered new area with resolve to manage
It is open field for competition and race
You have shaken off the belief and ready to face
You see all kinds of tricks in open field
So much arm twisting is done to have more yields
You are hesitant to employ new weapon with sharp edge
You still believe in ideology and tick to the pledges
Everything is said openly with courtesy but not done
You see in disgust at the happenings and think where all has gone?
It is contrary act for what has been promised and adhered to
It is all surprise before you to believe it as false or true
As gentle you are not used to certain unusual happenings
Some of things have come to you from the very beginning
You are seeing the facts which your eyes refuse to believe
And hear such things which you are not expected to live
There is really downward fall in every walk of the life
You can not expect to be at best without any relief
This is unlikely to happen even if you trust yourself
It is like believing in the treasure lying beneath sea shelf
Not all may want to adjust to the existing trend
There is no scope to fall in line or mend
It will take you no further but land you in troubles
As it will be understood by you that life is like bubbles

We don't see "Air", but it exists as we feel it. Water is seen at a distance in a desert, but it is a mirage due to an optical illusion. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. We see this with our eyes, but it is not true, because the earth goes around the sun causing this illusion. God, we don't see, but we believe that He exists. Knowledge and experience only teach what is truth and what is false. A thought provoking poem indeed!
