Ley Energies in Balance by Steve Slimm

Through the Veil of Obscurity

"Who am I?"
said the child of the universe,
"How did I come to be here?"

"Take my hand"
said the guardian of the gate,
"and follow me close to the edge"

"What will I there?"
said the innocent child,
"And how will I know to be free?"

"Let loose and still"
said the piercing wind,
"and breeze through the veil of obscurity"

My art and poetry are from the same obscure place somewhere in the center of my being - thanks for all the comments. S

do the art and the poem come from the same place or does one give birth to the other. both are beautiful.

"breeze through the veil of obscurity" Very good poetry. The conversational style in writing poetry is considered as a bit difficult. You accomplished it so well and of course the content of the poem is exquisite.

Thinly veiled with experienced passage obscurity teaches so much. A profound and inventive verse. Looking forward to more of your postings as they always leave me with some food for thought. perhaps understandable though mein O.B.S.

This is a universal query and your last line answers it beautifully. A very well penned poem.
