~ ... wondering, reflecting, feeling ... ~

Where Does Love Go?

Where does love go
when you don’t feel its touch?
You know it’s still strong,
yet you miss it so much.

Where does love go
when inside you’re blue?
That love was from heaven,
eternal and true.

Where does love go
when love’s nowhere around,
is missed more than ever,
feared n’er to be found?

Where does love go
when it’s deep in your heart,
the aching and longing,
felt when you’re apart?

Where does love go
when the tears start to fall,
heart broken, dreams shattered,
eyes swollen so small?

Love doesn’t just end
when it’s soulful and deep;
yours reached out and blessed me,
forever to keep.

You raised the question. Where do love go? there may be many answers and different interpretations. To me, my dear, it is not worth knowing anymore where it is if it did not had the courage to stay! I learned the hard and pain ways no to miss what is gone but to miss what is coming, instead, definitely it will be better, I hope! It is time to move on, there is only one life to live and can not afford to be drowned in your own shadow! Excellent write! Love and Peace for always!...

You ask the question in each stanza...and you close -out with the one & only answer....Love goes nowhere, when you own it...It stays deep within...tho' it aches, and burns and sometimes feels hollow when much time has gone by since you have been able to feel the fruits of that love...but as you say in quite eloquent words,...it rests in the soul...and indeed it is a blessing....Young Lady...another pen-gem here, to your credit ! ~ FjR ~
