Dark Melody

Burning in my heart a dark melody
The path obscured by fog and shade of tree
Terror holds me as I look down the trail
Dreading the consequences should I fail
I step foward in God's mercy and grace
Yearning so much to see Him face-to-face
As I try to move past fear's baneful sting
My dark melody I shall ever sing

Amazing Kate
Nate, how well I identify with this exceptional piece of writing. The fear is palpable. God bless you and your gift with words. Kate
