I wrote this last year during a very trying time in my life
Thank GOD I made it to the other side....
Stay into the night sleep in the day
For GOD will hopefully give us another day
These days are blue and untrue
These days I just want to slip away
To be pure and clean
These days I want to be free
From the quilt and shame
Feelings of going insane
These days oh lord help me to be strong
Help me to hold on
I feel so all alone
Sometimes I just want to go home
Let the light shine bright
As I walk into it in the night
Free as a yellow butterfly
Way up high into the sky
