Miss P's legacy

LOS TRIOS

The last of Miss P's chicks survived after three attempts.
Miss P, it's reported was run over, so sadly she didn't see
her progeny grow splendidly into handsome peacocks.
We're fortunate they call to have breakfast (wild bird seed)
most mornings. One in particular, I call her Limpie, allows me
to hand feed her. We hope they stay around for as long as their
father Mr P has, he's visited us for at least eight years.
As I write this, Los Trios are perched on the balcony railing.
It's a joy to have them around.

Every cloud has a silver lining and these three are certainly Miss P's lively legacy. Ironic that she didn't live to see her only surviving brood mature. It's good to read your words again, my love. Look forward to reading lots more from you in 2011. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
