Miss P's legacy
The last of Miss P's chicks survived after three attempts.
Miss P, it's reported was run over, so sadly she didn't see
her progeny grow splendidly into handsome peacocks.
We're fortunate they call to have breakfast (wild bird seed)
most mornings. One in particular, I call her Limpie, allows me
to hand feed her. We hope they stay around for as long as their
father Mr P has, he's visited us for at least eight years.
As I write this, Los Trios are perched on the balcony railing.
It's a joy to have them around.
Ms P's progeny - los trios are lucky to have an affectionate friend and peacock admirere like yourself...Cheers Jerrry and here's to your return on PF.....I too look forward to rading more of your poems soon..
