Where Time Stands Still (Morning Glory) by Joel Bedford

~ where time stands still ~

Give me a moment
far from the crowds
down by the river
where I can rest

Give me a moment
wandering free
toes in a cool stream
always the best

Give me a moment
sunlight diffused
drink in the beauty
now I feel blessed

This is so tender, so serene, so heartfelt. I love the imagery here. I agree with Rahul - you have echoed here many of our sentiments. Reminds me of a quote of Brian Andreas: “Time stands still best in moments that look suspiciously like ordinary life.”
