The Venomous Beard

She holds his
Shaggy beard,
Clings on to it tight
And wraps it
around her wiggly
Hips and started
The climb…..
His long, shaggy
Bushy beard
With dark
Hair sticking
Out, shading
His eyes,
Hiding his venom,
Buggy flies
Swarming
In his bushy
Shaggy dark
Beard,
an evil
Forest
looming
With every vile..

Not knowing
The Threat
she climbs, climbs
and climbs.. …
Clutching his
Dark hairs
With her
Soft, smooth
Lovely claws,
Fallen for his
Dark, handsome
Mushy hair,
She climbs
To get to
The top,
To the peak
To win his heart
She climbs…

In desperation
She hangs on
And climbs
As she reaches
The top
For a split
Second
in ecstasy
she stood......
… When he let
Out his
Monstrosity,
Filled with
Earth shaking
Ferocity,
Killed and raped
her soul to
leave her
hanging by
a dry, dark
tiny hair
of ultimate
Disillusionment!!!

I read it till the end to see whom you had personified here and woah! This is one helluva compelling write, Shan! Kept me guessing and yes, your unique dark humour is well taken here!

Oooooo she was climbing up the beard and I was climbing down the beard very slowly to get one BIG SHOCK! As usual this is unique to your style Shash and dark and compelling to read. The scope of this poem did it for me with the "tiny hair " so much in contrast to the long shaggy bushy beard!

Fine work! Dramatic as always! Dark and unpleasant! Elusive, but ultimately we reach disillusionment! Everything makes sense when this poem is concerned!
