An Incomplete Thanksgiving List

I have so much to be thankful for
on this thanksgiving day.
I am thankful for a loving wife and
the family she shared with me.

I am thankful for each grandchild
unique in their own way.
I love each one for who they are
and the love they share with me.

I am thankful friends and family
both near and far away.
They make my life worth living.
They fullfill a need in me.

I am thankful for my memories
of those who've gone before.
Those happy times of days gone by
will forever live with me.

I'm thankful for good health enjoyed
with which I'm truly blessed.
Although I've had my ups and downs
It's clear that God has smiled on me.
