For you

You touched with healing fingers,
the soul that writhed in pain,
You stroked where memories linger,
of the heart that bore her name.
You gently kissed a place like night,
where once a love had shone,
softly bringing forth the light,
'til all the shadows gone

A verse with healing in the very lines. A calm and gentle reminder that shadows can dim.
