drinking some lime scented tea (The Vert Aux 7 Agrumes) this afternoon sparked this one

Meditation on Tea

Preferring tea
I sipped with you
through your travails
and oblong tales

By evening's rush
I upheld belief
that there is hope
across all isotopes

Drinking with you
I realise
Its me, not you
that fades through chat

..like a beach ball
on a windy beach
bouncing gravely through
sand storm grinding

teeth.., disintegrated;
ready to walk apart
to the stringy end
and gyrate numb with hula

friend. The place is stunned!
something more to tea
than sitting and
fading all the while

not listening to anything
through finnicky soul filter
dripping in meditative
grain in straining sieve

Dont pass me by
if I appear stuck!
dont ask me why
just punch my gut
and I'll speak
(after I squeak)
and look once more
into Life's eye sore

Having only recently come to appreciate tea, and wine for that matter... beer and ale fail to impress... this poem, however is just hilarious, I love it... really do... Thanks for sharing...

Being English, I just love this tea drinking, heart pouring beverage of a poem... but it makes me think how much better the 'Life's eye sore' might have been if you'd been partaking in a glass of vino ;)) A thought provoking marvel of a poem!
