if sniffing

I wonder where the nose goes
behind closed doors
counters crossing clouds of scent
pursed lips creased to rent

I shuddered to the beat of mad nests
of ilk most precarious
of eggs scattered on rains splat
and pursed lip's unspoken hints

if the sniffing contagion
lashed about your air
you'd be belted out
of here with your sinister stare

would anyone care to choose
their xpelair
on the way to heavens stair
a devil may care
Wicked red chair to sit
and think what if?
..with an arrogant sniff
