Slow and steady wins the race (revised).

- Look! A chameleon!
__________________- Ooh!
I’m gonna watch it too.
- With three horns! They won my heart
Some years ago, Bart.
Pretending to look like that leaf
It wants to win an objective,
That fly. And it’ll succeed!
________________________- I say,
Nothing’s gonna happen.
________________________- They’ve
Won fame as hunters that are great.
- Really?
_________- I mean we should wait.
- And long?
___________- Slow and steady
Wins the race.
_____________- I’m not ready…
I’m neither nor as you know.
- Wait a bit.
___________- We’d better go.
- Not so fast!
____________- Sleepyhead, hey!
Chameleon! Stop sleeping! Wake!
What a frozen boy, I say.
- Don’t try to pluck at his tail!
It’s throwing its sticky tongue,
Just look!
__________- Aha!
________________- What?
________________________- It’s done!
The fly’s inside! What a speed!
Ha! I say, can you beat it?

What a refreshing way to present a verse - delightful. It holds the attention all the way through. Love the final few words.
