Rediscovering You
As time passed through our lives
We became routine with love
We said the habitual I love yous
And somehow it seemed enough
But last night as the moon hit you
I couldn't help but stare
The way the moon rays glistened
In your eyes and in your hair
It caught me utterly off guard
To see you in this way
It was like I didn't know you
Like it was again the very first day
It made my heart flutter wildly
As I saw you in this light
How was I to know
I'd rediscover you tonight
My darling I'm so sorry
That I don't tell you all the time
That you mean the world to me
And I'm thrilled that you are mine
But let me tell you something
You might not believe it to be true
There's really something magical
