Our selfishness in a nutshell, we all get caught up in its net

Born Blind, Deaf, Mute

My world evolves around my
Own preoccupations and
Petty worries...

I can't seem to see past my arms length
Only whats in my sights reach
Will I acknowledge

I hear voices call to me
But they sound so distance
Faintly I hear the echo

At times I feel someone's touch
Yet I seem only to notice it
When they have long passed

I speak only to be heard
I discard any other spoken words

All my senses are dull
Maybe I should have been
Born deaf, blind, and mute

I better would have served this world

I like the introversion in here; the examination of the self and things it seems to be lacking compared to being born without some senses since they do not seem to function for one.

all of us should not just benefit from the world but let the world also benefit from us. We are not pests but we are human beings. Nice write!

At times we all take things for granted, we must train ourselves not to. This is a great write, but sounds like the subject has given up! I enjoyed this one.
