Sail Away

crystal silence
strokes our swaying bodies
as time drips down our faces
our embrace,
tucked so gently from the world
throws all we've known
overboard into the churning seas
their desperate grasps
clinging to our ship
but we sail forth
unwavering and strong
slowly swallowed
by the fog
