just a sinking feeling

QUICK SANDY

Hard Sandy
Snug warming embrace
Tight, break-your-ribs hug
Plant kisses on me

Soft Sandy
Pull me into you
Moisten my being
Touch every crevice

Slow Sandy
Getting hard to breathe
Much darker than death
Please let me go

Quick Sandy
My soul is now yours
You’re stuck in my eyes
And I’m stuck in you

My kind of poem - I just love the variations and different angles on an all-encompassing love affair.

That sinking feeling given multi-layers of meaning - a superb poem in form, intrigue and sentiment.
