Anniversary Of Love

We fell in love in early Spring!
As lonely hearts often do,
While mother nature was bidding
The harsh Winter’s frost adieu,
The morning birds would soon sing,
A gentle breeze would subdue,
Many days together would surely bring
Wonderful feelings of déjà vu!

Our love flowed into Summer swing!
Our feelings for each other grew,
We talked and sang about everything
Under precious skies of blue,
These moments I shall forever cling,
As the seasons with you accrue,
Until graced by my wedding ring
And a lifetime of me and you!
