I know it's early, but the spirit just grabbed me!

This Christmas

I can't believe that Christmas is so near!
Seventy-one more days and then it's here!
I better get my paper and my pen,
and start writing my Christmas lists again...
Yuletide will be filled with season's cheer -
I think I'll do Old Fashioned Yule this year!
A roasted goose, plum pudding, chestnuts hot,
caroling and things long since forgot.
Hopefully we'll have some frost and snow -
over the river and through the woods we'll go!
A sleigh ride would be perfect for some fun -
snuggled under quilts with my special one.
Baking, music, traipsing through the snow...
this Christmas will be special, I just know!
