This poem is dedicated to my friend who has lost her love forever...

Unforgettable

You and I met under the sun and moon
Wherever you stay far away
Please come to share in my loneliness
The day that I die
Be with me ............

Your heart and mine combined with love
My heart is only yours
Yet our love fades away .........
Only in your heart you embrace me
The day when I die
Be with me ............

Tear drops were falling like rain
I just walked towards the sea ............
You just walked past me ...........
I'll keep all my memories within me
Everything will be buried with me
The day when I die
Please be with me forever ...........

Rereading this I feel the forcefulness. The format helps make the poem and your repetition adds deeper meaning to the longing and loss.

This surely is the wish of a broken heart. Is it possible it can be mended?

The unforgettable one, is the one that haunts the blood till death. That is the love that holds the sun and the moon, the night and the sea, the sunshine and the rain. That's the one that holds all the laughter and tears. The one that haunts you to stare with wonder at the stars. That's the lover that leaves you in sleepless nights and endless days. That's the one thats unbearable and unforgettable. That's the love whose tender kiss and sweet embrace are never forgotten where you surrendered your vulnerability to another with completeness.
