I Love You

Hatred is only an argument away,
Love longs to eternally survive!
Venomous words that strike at their prey,
Love longs to restrain and revive!

When loneliness cages a broken heart,
Love can set you free!
A strangled soul rises and yearns to restart,
Love is the skeleton key!

Not a road known that can lead you home,
Love will find the way!
No longer deserted to regretfully roam,
Love leads the cabriolet!

To pray to God to make you whole,
Love is all that you lack!
When faith returns to revive your soul,
Love has answered back!

Superb penning Mark. The word that is spoken, sung and read every second of the day - "love" through faith can move mountains.
