How would you like to die
but never get to leave?
To wander in between
the above and the beneath
To be, but not to bet
that is what you are
Hanging around in limbo
still alive but not aware
Still able to see and hear
but not process a thing
No body to keep you in
you cannot be contained
No substance to move you
from plane to plane
I have been there before
once upon a time
Remembering every moment
so real and sublime
There really are no words
to paint a perfect picture
and that no eyesight
could ever capture
It's unimaginable enrapture
