The power of touch - for- health is widely acknowledged
and it is something to which I subscribe with confidence.
Hands On.
Like drawing with pencil on fine sensitive
paper, touch brings it's statement of care.
It communicates much and gives natural
sense to admitted existence of mutual trust.
Something as simple as hands-on power
creates a healing art,
but it's core message, peace, comes when
love is massaged into the heart.
A unique way of saying we care without
words is a touch or a hug,
with these we enter a place until now
kept hidden away.
Heightened awareness conveys something
from true inner self,
giver and given share a being at one
by touch then hands-on is like a warm kiss.
Communing with psychic flow, this magic
raises life's energy field toward blissfulness.
Misery hides in the body and mind, putting
up barriers on which stroking shines light.
Try it some day, these inter-personal gifts
of hands-on contact often bring love alive.

What a beautifullly written (and soothing to read) poem which shines your unique light and honest revealing touch on a fundamental truth Fay! To share our bodies is to share ourselves, and therein to form a meeting place for souls - massage is an ancient art, and so much of it's meaning is lost to us, yet we can still give and be given it's deep healing.
