Autumn Beach by Toteki Live NL

Autumn-Imbued.

At last heat leaves the fast shying sun.

Summer is blighted now and as a quieter air
takes control and becomes Autumn-imbued
I follow the lead of late afternoon, basking
in glassy-topped sheen of meandering tide
which windless creeps up the now crowd-less
beach while I while an hour away, by walking
the adder-striped chocolate-ridged foreshore,
and wading through shallows of low tide-made
sand-lakes created to feel like warm-baked foil,
finely silver-shined and slippery virgin- smooth.

Summer , tho' abated, leaves Autumn a ripening
Mellowy substitute to appease a beach afternoon.

I sniffed the miraculous Autumn in your fine tapestry! And I am really scared of the sand snakes like my venomous relatives here!
