Time Stood Still

Time stood still
The wind stopped blowing
Turned around and said
"Well, blow me down".
The mist stopped creeping
The river refused to run.
Silence was noisy
The rain soaked the sun.
The oceans dried
Wars were over
Peace was announced
Yes, the war was over.
Not just one war
All wars, disagreements too.
Smiling faces lit the sky
Eyes sparkled,
Laughter was heard in unison
All over the World.
This thought is a good one.
Oh yes, a good one.

We could all use this. If time would stand still only for 10 minutes, maybe we would realize what we are missing.

Wonderful thought Cheryl... Year by year the complexities of this world grow more bewildering, and so each year we need all the more to seek peace and comfort in joyful simplicities...

Let us embrace peace, but alas, war is always on the other side of the coin my friend
