A short bedtime fairytale woven in word-cloth.

prepare
in starting
my dream as
I close my eyes
then I imagine what
could be, by surmising.
Storybook pages open for me
ethereal places stand waiting to be
explored excitedly. Peopled by smiling
gossamer fairies flying, high and skyward
to follow dreams. The sweet Lady Flora leading
opens her colourful queenly wings, then she feeds
from her fingers sheerest droplets of moonlight
to beam down the path on a Phantom Knight
who rides a star-chariot gleaming brightly
as sun on day, he enters the fairy-scene
and lifts his Queen into bluest space
tucks her in covers of cloud, races
away waved by fairy-shed tears
of goodbye and unfearfully
heads for a together-sky.
Fairytale dream-time
will ever need no
more than eyes
tight closed
and a wish
that your
dreams
might
