Billions and Billions of Stars and a Perseid Too! by Fort Photo

Am I Alone?

I'm a person.
In a town.
Within a country.
On a planet.
That is circling a star two thirds across the Milky Way.
In one galaxy of galaxies that populate infinity.
No telescope from earth can see
if there is someone just like me,
who's sitting underneath their sun
and wondering at lives begun
and where they're going in the end
and if out there, there lives a friend.

I love this type of reverie... galaxies spin slowly and spread across our sky... asking but never answering.

Essential questions. Each of us is a small part of the big picture. From time to time we wonder just how big it is.
