High Tide Waves on Coolum Beach by Horizon2035

Tidal Sound.

Ground shakes
as pressured waves force more reverberation.

Before long
tide takes sound for another shore-song.

Water weight
trapping air, roars in great anticipation.

Waves break
over-fall gradation and race accelerates.

Loud boom
crash cracks rockface in huge white spume.

Tidal sound
grinds into groundswell and then re-bounds.

Awesome sight
everlasting melody repeated day and night.

your images are so beautiful and realistic that one wonders if he is reading a poem or watching a tide soar in the ocean's nerves. your words and verses are so fine that it keeps the learning curve steep for the readers ...your pems have a perpetuity in them ..

Awesome poem sight in your last stanza and awesome poem too Fay. Having two words in the first sentences introduced me to such majestic and amazing images. I too felt I was there and the sound was so dominant too!
