The image shown was not the real sensuous bronze lady
but is the best I can find to illustrate the piece.

Bronze art deco Odalisque light figurine signed Fayral Faguays by canonburyantiques

So Sensuous. (E)

Sensuous lady
hands held outstretched, arms afling
skywards
was bared to her tiny lithesome
waist.

She teasingly smiled
pert nipples, abreast perfect shaped
mounds
were errectly taut and cooly
beguiling.

Her face was aglow,
alive with contrived vivacity,
belly
rounded, and dance-ready feet
below.

Bright eyed, head held high
hips gyrated with assumed
vibration,
her primitive passion highly
invitingly.

I wanted to bid,
as this tasteful bronze artwork
tantalised,
but limit was reached, and purse
hidden.

She, destined to grace
a far richer place, statuesque
figure
wrought in stylised art-decco,
waited.

I left there alone,
cast a last glace at the postured
dancer
and thought I might try her pose,
at home

The female form in bronze or in reality never loses its appeal Though I confess I prefer the living flesh to any statue I have seen sculpted by a masters hand. I rather think you'll understand

sometimes artistic pieces remain in our souls, the best place to place.
