Buddhist, Hindu , Christian , Jew

Buddhist, Hindu , Christian, Jew
roads for followers
all lead to You,
the names are different
prayers may sound strange
and the ones with the bombs
are way of range.

Buddhist, Hindu , Christian, Jew
names for the faithful all lead to You
but the mind is all clouded it just makes a stew
swear this is right I won't talk to you .

They've all have their followers
they all have their prayers
some fall by the wayside
and get tangled in tares
others they preach and say nobody cares
while the lost lonely soul into confusion he stares.

The names and the labels get longer each day
some want your faith and some want your pay
others demand faith and say there's no other way
while the darkness gets deeper in the middle of the day.

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful... Religion is nothing as long as we believed that God exist! the "Truth" is in our Hearts! Nicely penned Wojja!

Great poem Wojja.....Religion is unfortuantely now being reduced to a branding exercise...repackaging of the same principles differently -some more aggressively than others

only names differ... content is the same and the contemporary philosophy of each religion is kill first rather than getting killed!

Great thoughts about the belief to God and an advocate to misconception...I like this stanza -" some want your faith and some want your pay" - thats true ; as some just used God for business. That's why I pray sometimes under the tree. I know God is everywhere 'though translucent but I still believe in God, and I hope heard my prayers.
